The machining section covers care, maintenance, and training on our conventional lathes and milling machine.
We have developed our own internal courses where participants are gradually introduced to turning and milling.
The goal is safe, responsible, and tool-preserving operation.

Surface Grinder

Since early 2022, we also have a Jung G40 surface grinder in operation. The machine was acquired by the club in mid-2021 and fully restored by Jana Berger and Lennart Wilde. Various replacement parts had to be manufactured on the lathe and milling machine, and the machine was completely repainted. As a result, this machine can now produce flat surfaces with very low roughness. The working area is approximately 200 × 400 mm.
